Backyard mayhem

So we're in the process of reclaiming our backyard from that which would seek to destroy it, the dreaded ivy...


...the yard has been stripped and piles have been made...



...the two little trees out back gave up the good fight long before Rachael and I ever knew they were there, so we did the right thing and (started to) kill off what had killed them (is that the right thing? Oh well...).

Here are those results...


...while digging up the ivy we discovered we had a back patio, shortly after the discovery we DID NOT have a back patio.... see?
